■About endovascular surgery Endovascular surgery is one of the methods used to treat conditions such as ischemic stroke and subarachnoid hemorrhage. This intravascular procedure (catheter-based surgery) places less burden on patients, and the number of procedures is increasing by about 10% per year. Performing endovascular surgery requires delicate maneuvers while watching multiple screens simultaneously, and even slight delays or misalignments can lead to complications. The brain is one of the most vital organs, and complications can result in life-threatening situations. Our CEO Kono, drawing on approximately 16 years of clinical experience as a neurosurgeon, began development to address this challenge, and has now obtained regulatory approval for Neuro-Vascular Assist® as the first product of this effort. The Company will continue development to contribute to patient health.
■About Neuro-Vascular Assist® Neuro-Vascular Assist® is software that analyzes angiographic images to support the complex maneuvers of endovascular surgery.
