■Shogo Fukuda profile At Toshiba Medical Systems (now Canon Medical Systems), he led the development of new deep-learning-based features for diagnostic imaging devices, handling the process from planning to market launch. He later worked on autonomous driving technology at Nissan Motor and Toyota Research Institute – Advanced Development. Empathizing with the mission of “Delivering safe surgery to the world,” he joined iMed Technologies in October 2020 and oversees overall development management. Graduated from the Graduate School of Systems and Information Engineering, University of Tsukuba.
With Mr. Fukuda’s appointment as Chief Technology Officer, the Company will further accelerate the development of its surgical support AI for endovascular surgery and advance its business to bring it to the clinical setting as soon as possible.
